About Us
DANIELLE JUDD
PRESIDENT AND FOUNDER

When Danielle was five years old living in Los Angeles, she asked her parents to move out to "the country" so she could take care of goats, horses and chickens. Eventually her parents gave in, and it was the happiest time of her childhood.
As an adult living back in Los Angeles, she began to see that much of the current generation of children do not have access to the farm life she cherished from her childhood and she hoped to one day change this.
In 2016, Danielle became very ill while pregnant with her third child and was hospitalized and nearly died from bacterial meningitis, which led to severe pneumonia and weeks in the ICU.
Overcoming these obstacles made her realize how precious life is, and she developed a resolve to make a difference in the community.
She adopted "Lily" an off-the-track race horse that gave her hope for her own life and inspired her to build the non-profit Farmhouse Rescue. Since then she started a ranch in Orange County and began adopting farm animals and providing hope to the community.
